The MG Cyberster GTS is officially moving to production, and it is set to arrive later this year. This fixed-roof electric coupe brings a stylish 2+2 layout with improved practicality over the roadster version for car enthusiasts from the United States and worldwide.
The blog covers the details of MG Cyberster GTS production, including its launch timeline, design updates, and the fixed-roof coupe’s features.
MG has upgraded the GTS’s interior to improve comfort and function. The 2+2 layout provides more space, while new upholstery choices offer a stylish look. Buyers can expect color options like black and red or gray and white.
Both front seats come with electric lumbar support, and the car also includes a better voice recognition system and a new wind deflector.
The Cyberster GTS keeps a similar look to the original roadster but adds a fixed roof, redesigned rear, and a stronger, coupe-like appearance. The roofline flows smoothly and gives the car a sporty shape.
The coupe’s body is clearly influenced by classic British cars like the Jaguar F-Type (including the 2025 Jaguar F-Pace SVR model). With these changes, MG has managed to keep the design exciting while offering a more solid and practical option for everyday drivers.
To help drivers make the Cyberster GTS their own, MG is offering unique colors and wheel designs. New colors like Iris Green and Andes Gray will be available, along with a sleek Cyberster Black edition. This version includes a fresh alloy wheel design.
MG decided to produce the GTS after getting strong public feedback from the 2024 concept shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The design chief, Jozef Kaban, said the car “makes you smile” and that people’s excitement helped push the coupe into production.
He explained that sports cars are about fun and being noticed, and the GTS does just that—making drivers feel good while also standing out on the road.
MG offers two powertrain choices for the Cyberster GTS. One version is rear-wheel-drive with 335 hp, and the other is an all-wheel-drive model with 536 hp. It gives buyers (such as those with the Mercedes-AMG G63 model) the option to pick what fits their driving needs best—either smooth handling or extra power and grip.
Even though MG has not yet shared full driving specs, these power figures place the GTS among serious electric sports cars ready for real roads.
When it comes to battery performance, MG will likely continue with the 64 kWh and 77 kWh battery pack options found in the current Cyberster. These packs offer a good balance between power and driving range.
While exact driving range numbers are still to come, expectations are already high based on past models.
The Cyberster GTS will launch around October 2025, a date that marks 60 years since the MG B GT coupe. That link to the past gives the GTS meaning beyond just being a new car. MG also plans to grow its Cyber lineup with models like the Cyber X electric SUV, adding variety for different types of buyers.
The GTS, though, is meant to be the highlight for people (including those with the Mercedes AMG GT Coupe model) who want electric fun and style.
The Cyberster GTS gives buyers an electric coupe that looks good, drives strong, and offers features that work well in everyday life. It is made for those who want a car with real performance and classic coupe design. It is worth watching as it nears launch.
The MG Cyberster GTS production marks a significant step forward in electric sports coupe innovation, offering exciting features for enthusiasts.
